Position Title: Field Manager

Reports to: Branch Manager

Location: Norfolk, VA

Position Summary

The Landscape Management Field Manager has the primary responsibility of building a strong relationship with existing customers and branch teams. Execute high quality services in accordance with contract specifications and within given budgeted parameters.

This individual will directly manage Landscape Management Supervisors in accordance to Chapel Valley’s policies, industry guidelines, applicable laws and safety guidelines in a professional manner.

Objectives and Responsibilities 

  1. Build a highly motivated team of quality-oriented individuals who are able to meet personal goals and work in an efficient, safe, and productive manner.

  2. Support specific Branch goals which will enable the Company to reach established goals.

  3. Successfully lead and train supervisors to satisfy client needs in a profitable way.

  4. Maintain a positive company image with employees, clients, and the general public.

  5. Responsibilities include but are not limited to team building, contract management, facility and equipment management, expense control and safety.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the industry.

  2. Knowledge on the operation and safety of all landscape management equipment.

    Other Requirements

  3. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

  4. Clean Driving Record

  5. Computer knowledge including ability to use Aspire

  6. Able to write in communicate verbally and in writing in English

  7. DOT medical card

  8. Pesticide License – preferred (should work towards getting license with in first 6 months of promotion and/or hire.
